1. original box, card printed in colours to show title, maker's details and illustrations of the tank
2. tank, moulded dark green khaki plastic mounted on 5 pairs of large black wheels and two pairs of small wheels; around these are looped
the black tank tracks. On the top is the revolving turret with an Elevating 76mm gun, opening hatches with covers and gun sights. At the front are 4 clear plastic lamps. The turret has been streaked with black paint to add the illusion of camouphlage.
3,4. flag and radio aerial mast, grey with black knobs on the top
5. sheet of decals showing 3 flags or pennants of blue and red

Object history | References: Enclosed leaflet states:- Your Action Man Scorpion Tank is based on the actual fighting vehicle used by today's British Army. This is the production model with the additional colour. Details about the tank in an earlier catalogue state the Scorpion Tank has real hatch openings for two Action Man Soldiers. Moving tracks and revolving turret add real excitement to the armoured division. |
