Horse; rider and base of lithographed tinplate held with tongue and slot joints. The horse is black with white; red; yellow; blue; and brown trim. The integral rider is yellow; with red; blue and black. The whole is mounted on a semicircular base printed in green; yellow; brown; gold; black; blue and red to show a landscape scene; saddle riding equipment and the title. The clockwork is housed in the base with the integral key protruding on the right. It rests on a flat red bar and has a control rod at the front. When wound the whole rocks controlled by the flat bar and the rod. The lasso spins as the toy moves.
