Handkerchief trimmed with tatting. The centre is formed of a square of white muslin with a narrow hem. Surrounding this is an elaborate border of white tatting. In between two rows of trefoils are diamond shapes (four on each side) composed of quatrefoils and circles, and each one is surrounded by four ovoid motifs. The spaces between are filled with various motifs based on circles and ovals.
