Man's coat of brown wool with a square notched lapel and four button DB fastening, a waist seam and slanting hip pockets. The buttons are self-covered. The stitched cuffs fasten with four buttons. It has a central back vent flanked by pleats in each of which is a pocket. There is an inside breast pocket.

The lining is of brown sateen, but this may be a replacement.
