1. box lid, card printed in colours to show the title, maker's details and an illustration of a saddled horse with standing soldier in khaki
2. box base, plain white card
3. box insert, plain white card
4,5 instructions leaflet detailing the saddlery assembly
6. horse, moulded black plastic with black saran hair tail and mane. It is in a walking stance. There are appearing on the surface one or two stress cracks but these seem to be stable and related to the mould line joins. L. 15in. (38.1cm)
7. bridle and reins, black plastic with white ear band, chrome plastic bit and brass coloured buckles.
8. saddle and martingale, black plastic with white girth, chrome plastic stirrups and brass coloured buckle. The bridle and saddle have been assembled and placed on the horse, though many of the pieces were originally separate.
*The horse had been used by Palitoy for photography complete with mounted Action Man. Inside the Horse Box are the remains of the packaging and equipment used.
9. window box, THE LIFE GUARDS FAMOUS BRITISH UNIFORMS Catalogue No 34149, card printed in red, white and blue to give the titles, maker's details and an illustration of the guardsman. It is badly torn and covered with the remains of cellotape.
10. box insert, light blue card blister pack from which the contents of the box have been removed except for the silver helmet with a white saran hair plume. It is a mock up blister pack and has brown gummed paper stuck to the back of the card.
11. plastic bag containing a variety of saddle equipment; belts; sword casing and pouch not used for display
