Place of origin |
Large panel of fine drochel net made in strips and patterned along the lower edge with an applied design of loosely connected floral sprays which extend into the ground. The flowers and leaves are mainly defined by thin lines of cloth work with raised, woven edging. There are some filling stitches. Tiny, curving floral sprigs are scattered over the remaining ground.
The panel has been cut at the top and down the sides, which are now finished with a simple bobbin made edging.
