Bodice for a statue made of broad pieces of brown silk taffeta embroidered with silver strip, frisé and purl, edged with narrow linen bobbin lace, applied a brown satin ground. The whole is sewn to the front of a boned lining bound with leather. Sleeves have been made of the embroidered silk with extensions below the elbow of brown silk velvet applied with silver bobbin lace, and fastening with broad brown silk ribbon. The bodice fastens at the back with 16 worked lacing holes on each side.
