Action figure that 'blasts' apart into two separate pieces. The two parts clip together with the body containing a spring mechanism, activated by the control lead to spring the body apart.

1. Left side of body with head, moulded plastic in grey, green, gold, red and black. The face is also decorated in light green and red.

2. Right side of body, moulded plastic in grey, green, gold, black and red. It has no head and starts from the shoulder area.

3. Control mechanism, white tube with the black plunger at one end and a black knob at the other which fits into a space in the back of the figure.

4. Sword, grey moulded plastic

5. Bow and arrow, grey moulded plastic

Physical description

Masters of the Universe figures Collected by Jermaine Dacas, aged 10–14 What we collect and own says something about us and our lives. Anything we group together can be a collection. Over four years, Jermaine spent his pocket money on nearly sixty figures from his favourite TV programme. He acted out his own stories with them, as well as scenes from the show. Object history
Bought by the donor between 1983 and 1987. Mr Dacas was born 17/10/73 and saved his pocket money to buy the toys. He played with them and created his own dramas for the characters.
Production
Blast-Attak was part of the sixth wave of Masters of the Universe figures, released in 1987.
