Pair of women’s gloves of cream leather, with salmon-coloured leather forks, reaching to the elbow. They are embroidered in coloured silk floss and couched with silver filé, over thick padding in a design of a bird and flower on the back of the hand. The fingers are outlined in herringbone stitch in blue silk with a row of short lines in blue in the centre of each finger and a tuft of blue silk at the base of each. The opening of each glove is edged with a blue and yellow looped fringe.
