Physical description
Headdress of red satin ribbon, with two central cascading ribbons of the same material ornamented with spangles and beads. The ribbon has frayed and pinked scalloped edges. German, 19th century.

To the sides are two long white figured silk streamer ribbons with purple floral motifs, also embellished with beads and spangles. Each ribbon is finished with a strip of tightly pleated silk with beads.
