Child’s cap of green figured silk, lined with pale pink silk taffeta. It is cut in 3 pieces, and edged with silver-gilt bobbin lace, with pale green silk ribbon ties. The cap is embroidered with silver-gilt filé, frizé and strip in a pattern of large flowers. The edging of silk bobbin lace was probably added in the 1750s.
