The jacket has two hip pockets with flaps and one left breast pocket with slit opening and welted top cut on a slant. The sleeves have a 3" slit at the cuff, closed by 4 buttons. The lining is of a grey, twilled, synthetic mix. There is a breast pocket inside each front and a hanging strap at the back of the neck. The sleeves are lined with cream, plain weave nylon, striped in blue, red and grey. The pockets are lined in grey, twilled cotton, the flaps have the same lining as the jacket. There is a small vent at the centre back, 43/4". The shoulders are padded and the fronts have thick interlining and padding on the upper breast.

The trousers are tapered and cut to fit at hips and waist; there are only two darts at the back and on either side of the centre back seam. The fly front is fastened by a lightening metal zip and held at the waist by two flat, metal hooks and bars. There is an additional fastening of button and tab at the top of the zip. Two slit pockets on either side are let into the side seams. The bottoms are without turnups and are higher at the front.
