Tapestry-woven wool on a cotton warp. The serape is woven with stripes of arrowheads and stars in dark blue on a white ground. In the centre is a large diamond-shaped ornament, divided into four smaller diamonds, with a geometrical pattern in dark blue, red, white, and yellow. There is a border all around of dark blue, with a zig-zag pattern in lighter blue. At each end there is a wide border of biscuit-coloured knitted cotton, with a long fringe. The serape is made in two pieces, joined down the centre.
