Woman’s bedgown, pieced from another textile, probably a bedcover of fine bleached linen, embroidered in backstitch with yellow silk floss in a pattern of feathers against a ground of scrolling tendrils. The bedgown is lined with coarse bleached linen. The back is mainly one piece, extending over the shoulders, with a small rectangular collar. The sleeves are rectangles, with rectangular cuffs.
