Each front has a pocket and a scalloped pocket flap. The waistcoat, pockets and pocket flaps are lined with bleached linen, the sleeve linings pieced with linen and fustian. The waistcoat is embroidered-to-shape with linen thread with French knots, quilting, cording, drawn-thread and pulled-fabric work, around the front neck and pockets, on the pocket flaps and cuffs, and along the front edges and hems.
