Sampler of embroidered linen in green and red silks in cross, satin and Algerian eye stitches. The top section consists of lines of crowns and patterns interspersed with seven lines of alphabets and numbers. The main part of the sampler is occupied by the Ten Commandments worked in two columns surrounded by a double arch. At the top of the arch are worked three formal flowers and two small crowns with the letters 'K Q C D'. The sampler is signed.
