Handkerchief of bobbin lace worked in silk. Round centre of white silk with a deep border of cream silk bobbin lace. Maltese pattern of crosses and stars of wheat ears joined by plaited brides. Over-all design of circles and of circles within squares. Scalloped edge. The lace is made in narrow strips and then joined together.
