Object history
Found at Qau el-Kebir / Antaeopolis, 1924 excavation season.

Another fragment of the same band, from the same excavation season, was given to the Whitworth Museum (T.1995-14). A third piece was subsequently given to the V&A by UCL in 1976 (now object number T.179-1976).
