Parasol with mother of pearl handle and ferrule. The outer cover is of Brussels lace and the second, finer machine mesh is used in places in imitation of needle lace. A delicate pattern of floral sprays set within arcades of flower heads cover the top of the parasol. It has a double under cover of brown and cream silk which conceals the metal ribs.
