Cotton embroidery on cambric in satin and ladder stitches, with trailing, French knots, and drawn-work, with Flemish bobbin lace trim. In two opposite corners is worked a square composed of a cartouche containing, on a fance diaper ground, the name "Magdélaine Marinoni," and flowers in irregular scrollwork compartments. There is a broad border of drawn-work. The lace trim is of a repeating curved stem pattern.
