Child’s cap of fine bleached linen, cut in 3 pieces, backed with coarser linen. The outlines of a large carnation tulip and leaves are corded in backstitch with linen thread, the centres embroidered with drawn-thread work. The linen around the motifs is speckled with decorative worked eyelets. There is a narrow casing at the back neck with a linen cord drawstring.
