Woman’s apron of muslin embroidered with cotton thread in satin stitch and needle-weaving with areas of drawn-thread work. It has scalloped edges with a border pattern of a wavy leafy stem bearing roses and other flowers. The apron is made of two lenghts of muslin whipped together at centre front. It is shaped at the waist, shorter at centre front than at the sides and gathered into a ⅜-inch (8 mm) wide linen tape which extends into ties for fastening. The tie on the left side is missing.
