Doll Clothing

late 1920s (made)
Artist/Maker
Place of origin

Plain waisted cap sleeved dress of orange felt; arms holes trimmed with white felt and the hem with black felt. The front of the dress is decorated with two square patches; sewn close to the hemline. Each represents a flower of pink; green; white and black felt. The dress is in poor condition; dirty and with the waist seam under the arms unstitched; the back fastenings and collar trim are missing.
*It is possible that the dress is handmade in the style of the two makers; it is difficult to tell except there appears to be some hand stitching.
