Linen embroidery on muslin in stem, chain, and crossed back stitch, eyelet holes, buttonholing, drawn work and damask fillings. The pattern is symmetrical along two sides of flowering trees and tulip-like flowers, admidst which are birds and butterflies. The edging is of leafy scroll-work, and there is a great variety of diaper fillings (stripes, lozenges, crosses, etc.).

Physical description
