Napkin of linen damask. The scenes remaining on this cloth runs from the top downwards in the following order: Spies returning from Canaan with a bunch of grapes, and their names, appear in the repeats lower down, have been cut off; Moyses holding a rod, kneeling before an apparition of Jehovah over the tents of the Israelites, and above is inscribed 'NUMER XIII CAP' and below is 'PHARAN', the name of the wilderness; Rows of small walled towns with trees and flying birds; and 'NEHEL' standing in his vineyard with one hand on his hip and the other holding a long spear.
These scenes are repeated in the remaining length of the cloth to the next third of the Nehel scene. The border is a double meander enclosing small birds and flowers, and with an outer edge of checkerboard.
The linen is woven in a satin of 5 and with a point repeat.
