Linen with embroidery in silk, metal thread, darned silk pile (cut and uncut) and peacock feathers in long and short satin stitch and couching. Under a cloud from which and angel looks down, a lady stands in a bower with two children (possibly the figure of Charity). At the top are the sun and the moon; to the right and left are birds, animals, insects, and flower springs. The back is faced with silk and there is an original metal fringe.
