Nightdress of embroidered linen. It is in one piece and sleeveless with a wide 'V' neck and slits for the insertion of a ribbon at waist level. The neck is trimmed with a machine-made Valenciennes bobbin lace on either side of a machine-embroidered whitework border with a pattern of ovals and butterflies, and a pink ribbon is threaded through. A coronet and 'AC' is embroidered at the centre front.
