A bag of crocheted silk, with a circular base worked in double crochet (USA: single crochet) in a pattern of radiating black teardrops, edged with yellow on a red ground. Around this is a border of blue, red and yellow flowers, green leaves against black, with a shell pattern edging in black, green red and yellow. The sides of the bag are worked in a filet of two treble crochet (USA: double crochet). The top edge is a shell border of black, green red and yellow. The base of the bag is padded and lined with silk
The drawstring is a flat braid of red silk, with finials of green and yellow silk. Six finials of green and yellow, and red and yellow are suspended from the bottom.
