1. case/box; polished wood; two layers with the top one pegged at the end so it will swivel to reveal the lower layer. At one end is cut a circle.
2. sliding lid; polished on the top surface and with a finger grip at one end. Printed on the underside in pen is Mary Kempson
3,4. pencils; wood with coloured leads. Each is marked with MADE IN ENGLAND ANGLO UTILITY and the colour. 3 - BLACK; 4 BROWN
5. pencil; wood with green lead. Marked MADE IN ENGLAND CUMBERLAND PENCIL CO LTD UTILITY - GREEN
6. pencil; wood with yellow lead. Marked MADE IN ENGLAND CUMBERLAND PENCIL CO LTD UTILITY -. Part of the side has been cut flat and Mary Kempson written in pen.
7. pencil; wood with blue lead. Marked X UTILITY BLUE X PENCILS LTD LONDON
8. pencil; wood with red lead. Marked MADE IN ENGLAND J CHA...; also hand written in ink Mary Kempson
9. puzzle; small card and plastic covered disc with a square printed in three colours and white and four matching discs. The aim is to
place the discs on their appropriate colour.
