Woman's coat and muff in black astrakhan and with black silk satin lining embroidered with coloured flowers. The coat is mid-calf length, straight cut and flaring slightly towards the hem. It has with deep curving and wide hood collar and lapels. The sleeves are long and are shaped to hang at their most full just above the wrist. The coat probably fastens with a loop and button at the low waist, but only the loop remains. The coat is lined with red, yellow, blue and green flower sprigged black satin at either side of the front and with black satin at the back. There is a ribbon and loop to adjust the fastening.

The muff is of matching fur, small, padded and barrel shaped. Lined with black satin.
