Evening coat of chestnut brown cotton velvet, slightly shaped at the waist and reaching to the knee. The coat is double breasted with two buttons. The collar and lapels are of black cotton velvet and are broad, reaching the first button hole and continue to form facings inside the coat.
The hip pocket flaps and cuffs are also of black velvet, and the cuffs are shaped to a point on each sleeve and stitched flat.
The buttons are covered in the same brown velvet as the coat.
The fronts are cut in one piece with an additional side seam under the arm to the pocket. The back is cut in two pieces with a centre back seam and back vent.
The coat is lined with brown synthetic silk twill and the pocket flaps and facings are lined in the same material in black. The pocket bags are of twilled brown cotton. The inside right-breast pocket has the same material for the facings as the coat with a twilled black cotton pocket bag.
There is one inside button on the left side.
