Leather wallet containing sewing needles. Folding pink leather wallet with a press-stud opening which, when opened, shows four sections of graded needles with grades and prices marked in gold. Called 'Best Gold-Eyed sewing needles', the wallet contains grades 6-10, 20-22 'Tap' (for tapestry), betweens, sharps and 20-22 'Chen' (for chenille) needles. There are also crewels and darners. There are approximately 255 in the wallet and the prices range from 4/8d to 6/10d (presumably for multiple purchase). The inside of the folder is lined with dark pink cotton sateen and the needles are secured into each movable flap with a backing of black paper.
