Pair of slip-on heavy red canvas shoes with cut away squared toes. The black plastic soles and low heels have a shiny finish which resembles lacquer. The shoes have an Oriental style influence. They have tabs attached to the backs.

Manolo Blahnik went on to establish a thriving shop in Chelsea designing expensive avant-garde footwear. In 1980 he was still designing evening shoes for Midas.
