Evening dress of ivory silk and chiffon embroidered with metal thread and mounted of cream satin. It has a high waisted bodice with a square neck and short sleeves which are covered in gold lace. The slightly gathered overskirt is slit from the waist to show a flounce of bead embroidery. The lining is of white satin and the bodice is bound and has the maker's name on the waistband. There is a triangular composition and gilt trimming stitched at the centre back.
