Shoulder cape in three layers. The top layer is of black satin and beadwork appliqué on net, underneath which is a black net frill, and finally a lining of concertina pleated white silk. There are large black satin bows at the neck and in front with tying ribbons, and a high standing collar with a black lace frill and trimmed with satin bows at the back
