Ladies cloak of white silk crêpe de chine, trimmed with matching machine-made silk lace insertion. It is waist length with a high band collar and a small semi-circular yoke covered in matching French knots, from which hangs a pleated elbow-length cape shaped to a point at each elbow and another at the centre back. The body of the cloak is of the same material, longer, and shaped to hang in counterpoint to the upper layer. The upper layer is edged with lace, the lower also, with a row of the same inserted above. They are both separately lined with pleated chiffon, edged with a ruche, and the yoke and collar are lined with satin, and with a tulle frill at the neck. The cloak fastens with hooks-and-eyes and looped cream satin ribbons are stitched on either side of the front.
