Hat of mauve shot silk. Cloche shape with a rounded crown and narrow brim turning up on the left hand side. The hat is covered with shot silk loosely gathered on the right hand side of the crown to which are stitched tinsel and silk ribbon flowers in shades of pink, white and gold, and the leaves and some of the outlined are in raffia. The hat is made on a canvas shape with an adjustable lining of matching silk. The lining is quilted round the inside of the brim, and a velvet ribbon is stitched inside the right edge.
