Ladies hat made of black plaited straw. It has a high, close crown with a small pleat around the top and a narrow brim, wired at the edge, which extends from the sides around the front leaving the nape clear. There is a wide pleated pink silk band and the edge of the brim is bound and faced in pink. On the left front is a large flower mount of curled pink and green feathers. The hat is lined with black silk.
