Two pieces of silk velvet, formerly parts of a chasuble. Woven in green cut and uncut silk pile on a yellow satin ground enriched with silver-gilt strips. Ogee-shaped compartments formed by large leaves springing from devices of floral scrolls linked together; within the compartments are symmetrical designs of leafy stems and fruit.
