Semi-circular cape made of black machine-made net decorated with applied strips of black and white machine-made lace. The edges are bordered with strips of imitation applique of bobbin lace, one round the neck, two down the sides and three round the hem. The ground is divided into eight segments, each containing an elongated loop of lace.
