Orphrey of embroidered silk with gilt thread and coloured silks in couched work and split stitch. Applied with embroidered figures. The orphrey consists of three oblong panels divided and edged by bands of gilt thread laid and couched over string in a rope-like pattern. Each panel contain the figure of a saint. Saint Andrew is at the top and is dressed in red and blue and carrys the cross of his martyrdom. The top half of the figure has been cut away. The trunk of a cypress tree is in the background. Saint Peter is dressed in red and mauve and carrys a key in his right hand and a book in his left. Trees are in the background. Above his head is a swag of stylised flowers and leaves worked in red and gold. Saint Sebastian is tied to a gnarled tree trunk, and with a building behind. Above his head is a swag of stylised flowers and leaves worked in red and gold.
