Parasol of blue silk domed cover, covered with three layers of blue frills of petal shape with machine hem-stitched edges.
The stick is short and made from light wood, the handle of carved grey stone with a flower carved, yellow bone centre. The tip matches the handle.
The ribs are of rectangular, hollow section metal with square ended stained bone tips. There is a ruche of blue silk inside the apex and at the junction of the stays, and a shiny white metal slider. There are two incised brass catches.
