Pair of woman's shoes made from emerald green ribbed silk trimmed with narrow gold braid which has a vandyke edge and ribbed pattern, and lined with white kid. They are slip-on 'court' shoes, 'straights' with a rounded pointed toe and a covered 'Louis' heel. There is a quarter seam. The top-edges of the uppers are bound with green silk ribbon to which is applied gold braid. There is a made-up bow at the throat, similarly trimmed. The 'sock' is of white kid. The shoes are machine stitched. The sole is of dark-green stained leather with a 'wheeled' cross hatched design on the ball of the foot and an indistinct but similar design on the instep.
