A dress of blue silk satin overlaid with machine-made black lace, heavily embroidered with black beading. The blue under-dress has a wide, square neckline with an integral black lace fichu creating a V neckline. The neckline and sleeves feature stylised floral embroidered in grey and blue silk. The same embroidery appears diagonally across the skirt. The assymetric opening to the black lace over-dress is decorated with a substantial passementerie chord with tassels of black beads.
