1. box lid; card printed in colours to show the title and trademarks; and an illustration of a boy playing with the lettering equipment. Printed along end MADE IN ENGLAND BY HARBUTT'S PLASTICINE LTD BATHAMPTON BATH BA2 6TA. One side of the box is torn.
2. disc with 18 arms; moulded red vinyl. At the end of each arm is moulded a letter of the alphabet from A to R. In the centre of the disc is a small hole. The letters are raised and to some there are still traces of plasticine. Diam. 3¾in (9.6cm)
3. disc with 18 arms; moulded blue vinyl. This is the matching disc with the letters S to Z and the numbers 0 to 9.
4. moulded white plastic form used to house the two disc. It is shaped with a raised square at one end containing a circle; a semicircular area
at the other.
5. block of plywood used to support the plasticine while working with it, scored and marked on both sides. 9in x 5in (22.9x12.7cm)
6. packer's label; printed in black on yellow explaining about Plasticine. 7,8. box base; white card containing box lining (8)
