1. lid; moulded dark brown plastic; with two white plastic clips for holding it to the typewriter itself and a carrying handle. On the inside is moulded the list of patents; name of makers; distributors and copyright holders. PETITE is marked on the front in gold lettering
2. typewriter; moulded body of dark brown plastic with the upper part of beige plastic; the individual finger keys and space bar are of white plastic with the markings in black. The printing keys are metal bars with grey plastic tops each having a capital letter and a symbol or number. The print is in capitals only and operates like a normal manual typewriter. At the back top is the patten of rubber, the metal strip measure bar, and tab setting buttons, line spacer and patten knobs of white plastic. The name of the machine is printed across the front and the panel lifts up to allow the ribbon to be changed.
