Two curtains (have been unstitched) of woven linen, embroidered (chiefly in chain stitch) with coloured worsteds. Pattern of roses, lilies, carnations and other flowers springing from a long wavy tree-stem which grows from a grassy mound. Upon the mound are sheep and a dog. The pattern is repeated three times on each curtain.

Each curtain is made up of three widths stitched together. The middle width of 1474A is partly worked in a different stitch to chain stitch.
