Remains of a box lid for a box of Christmas crackers; card covered with a dark red paper patterned with diamond shapes. On the top is a label printed in colours with the title TOM SMITHS NAVAL AND MILITARY
CRACKERS. The label shows various soldiers and seamen holding and pulling crackers. Around the end are an array of code signal flags and a rope design with the words INTERNATIONAL CODE SIGNALS ARMY NAVY. On the underside of the lid is a printed label showing the words BY ROYAL WARRANTS TO T R H THE PRINCE AND PRINCESS OF WALES TOM SMITH'S NAVAL AND MILITARY CRACKERS N. 453 with instructions and an illustration of a man and woman.
