Embroidered picture consisting of a canvas embroidered with coloured wools and some silk in cross stitch. The scene takes place in a room of brown stone with tall narrow windows and a red curtain above. By a bed in the corner kneels the widow in blue robe and red mantle holding her son who has just been restored to life. In the centre stands Elijah in a blue robe and red mantle, with hands and eyes raised in prayer. Behind him, a servant holding up his staff is leaning on the end of the bed. The embroidery is in its original frame.
