Dark red cover printed in black to show the title; and NAME; FORM; DATE and SUBJECT. On the back also in black is written Amanda Jane and the trademark of a girl with a parasol. It contains pages with blue lines and down the left sides a red margin line.
The Amanda Jane Company; was founded in 1952 making accessories for dolls rather than the dolls themselves. The company supplied leading stores including Harrods, Hamleys and Selfridges. The first dolls were produced in 1958. Company is still in business.
